Points System
Each of the 3 committees, Social, Academic, and Community Service, host events that are worth a certain amount of points. Residents can attend these events and earn points to remain an active member of the dorm.
Usually (though there are exceptions), Social, Academic, and Community Service events are each worth 1 point. Irvin residents are required to earn 2 points for each event type per semester, plus two Wild Card points that can originate from any committee. This gives a total of 2 Social points, 2 Academic points, 2 Community Service points, and 2 additional points of your choice.
If a resident does not earn the necessary points to be considered active, he or she will be unable to live in the dorm the following semester.
